A second battery first. Then the filter on the ring. The hood can wait.

The X100V is small, and the day rarely goes wrong because a hood is missing. It goes wrong when the battery dies before the evening light, or the front element picks up the first scratch.
The battery is the NP-W126S. The same one is in the X100VI. A V30 card is enough for stills and for 4K at 30 frames per second. V90 is money this camera does not use.
Whether the camera is still the right one in 2026 is in the review. Whether a converter should change the angle of view is in Fujifilm X100V lenses.

Short
Which X100V accessory comes first
A genuine NP-W126S, then the PRF-49 on the adapter ring, then a SanDisk Extreme PRO 128 GB V30. The LH-X100 is the hood against flare, and you buy it once the ring and the filter are already on and light from the side bothers you. A wrist strap is worth it once the one from the box is missing or too thin. You do not need a branded one for that.
Four pieces
Battery, filter, SD card and hood for the X100V
In this order, not as a bundle. I would add the battery almost every time. The filter once the ring from the box is on the lens. The hood only when flare bothers you and the camera is allowed to get thicker. The prices are on Amazon.

Any day that runs longer than a relaxed afternoon.
The bare 23mm, when the ring from the box is still there.
A normal photo day and short 4K clips.
The bare 23mm with the ring, when you shoot into the light.
Money that goes into a hood before the second battery is missing exactly when the finder goes dark at midday. This is how I would finish a used X100V.
The hood is the last row. For most days the list ends after the card.

Battery
X100V battery: the NP-W126S
There is one battery in the box. On Fujifilm’s own CIPA figure that is roughly 350 to 420 shots, depending on whether you look through the finder or at the screen. An afternoon is enough. A day with reviewing and a bit of video ends before the light does. That is the size of the cell, not a fault.
The larger battery in newer system cameras, the NP-W235, does not fit. The X-T5 and the X-H2 take that one. The X100VI takes the NP-W126S again. If you switch later, the spare batteries come with you. Off-brand is cheaper. The remaining time on the screen is often wrong.

The second battery, before the afternoon is over
The X100V takes the NP-W126S. The same cell is in the X100VI. The larger NP-W235 from the X-T5 does not fit the compartment. On Fujifilm’s CIPA figure you get about 350 to 420 shots, depending on whether you use the finder or the screen. A street day with reviewing is often over before the evening light. A genuine second battery belongs with the camera. Off-brand is cheaper, and the remaining-time display is often wrong. The price is on the Amazon page.
Up front there is first a slim front ring. You twist that off. In its place goes the AR-X100 adapter ring. On a complete camera it is in the box. If a used set is missing it, the filter has no thread. Then the ring is the first order, not the hood.
Into the ring you screw the PRF-49, 49mm, clear glass. Fujifilm means the X100V’s weather resistance once the ring and a protection filter are on together. Very cheap glass can double lights at night. So not the first one you find. You do not need an ND filter for this: the camera already has an ND that cuts the light by about four stops.

Fujifilm PRF-49
The protection filter that belongs in the adapter ring
The front element of the X100V is open as long as only the slim front ring is on. You take that off and fit the AR-X100 adapter ring, which is in the box with most cameras. Only then do you screw in the PRF-49. 49mm, clear glass. Fujifilm ties the X100V’s weather resistance to the ring plus a filter. Cheap glass can double lights at night. That is why the original filter, not the first one in a bargain bin. It does not fit the tele converter, which wants 67mm. The price is on the Amazon page.

Was Du wissen solltest
−Without the adapter ring the filter has no thread
One slot. 26 megapixels and 4K at 30 frames per second sit at a data rate V30 is meant for. V90 is a class for cameras that write much faster. 128 GB is the practical middle. How the classes fit together is in the SD card for a camera guide.
V30 is enough
SanDisk
SanDisk Extreme PRO 128 GB V30
A card for stills and the X100V’s 4K
The X100V writes 26-megapixel files and 4K at 30 frames per second. V30 is enough for that. V60 and V90 are a label this camera does not use. 128 GB is a normal day without changing cards at four. You can leave the same card in an X100VI later. Leave the write-protect switch on the side that lets the camera write. The price is on the Amazon page.
The hood keeps side light out of the glass and fingers off the filter. It locks onto the adapter ring, not onto the bare lens. Once a WCL or TCL is on the front, the ring is off and the hood has nowhere to go. It belongs to days with the 23mm, not to a converter.
In a jacket it is often in the way, because the camera is no longer flat. If you bought the X100V for that flat shape, leave the hood at home and live with a bit more flare. If you often shoot into the sun, you will notice the difference.

A hood against flare, not the first spend
The hood sits on the adapter ring, not on the bare lens and not on a WCL or TCL. It keeps side light out of the glass and fingers off the filter. On a camera you put in a jacket, it is often the piece that comes off again, because the camera is no longer flat. Buy it once the ring and the filter are already on and flare actually bothers you. Before that, the battery and the filter save the day. The price is on the Amazon page.
One battery, a charger, the front ring, on most sets the adapter ring, a cap, often a thin strap. On a used camera the ring or the charger is often missing. That is a price argument. A cage is not.
You do not buy a finder. It is built in, optical and electronic. You do not need a second ND filter as long as the built-in one is enough. And you certainly do not need an NP-W235.

FAQ
Common questions about Fujifilm X100V accessories
Which Fujifilm X100V accessory comes first?+
A genuine second NP-W126S battery, then the PRF-49 protection filter on the adapter ring, then an SD card with V30 and 128 GB. The hood after that.
Which battery does the X100V need?+
The NP-W126S. The X100VI takes the same one. The larger NP-W235 from the X-T5 does not fit the compartment.
Does the X100V need a filter?+
Yes, if the front element should stay protected and the weather claim should apply. The filter screws into the AR-X100 adapter ring. The ring is usually in the box.
Which SD card for the X100V?+
V30 is enough for stills and 4K at 30 frames per second. 128 GB is a practical size. V90 is unnecessary on this camera.
Does the hood fit on a conversion lens?+
No. The LH-X100 sits on the adapter ring of the bare lens. The WCL and TCL go in the same place as the ring. You cannot use both at once.
