For the first generation: the small spare battery first, then a card, then sound, then the grip. What is already in the box, you do not buy again.

Accessories for the ZV-E10 get silly fast. A cage, a light, a gimbal, a second windscreen. The camera films you without any of that. What it cannot do: survive a long shooting day on one small battery, save a clip with no card, or keep your voice clear once you step back.
The order here is for the first ZV-E10, the one from 2021. Its battery is called NP-FW50. The newer II takes a different one, the NP-FZ100. Grip, card and the wireless mic fit both. Whether the camera itself is still the right one is in the review. Which lens goes with it: Sony ZV-E10 lenses.

Which ZV-E10 accessories first
I would buy a second original battery first, the NP-FW50. The first empty battery arrives earlier than the next nice gadget. Then a brand SD card with 128 gigabytes and V30, if there is not one in the slot yet. A wireless mic only once the voice is the content and you are not staying an arm's length from the camera the whole time. The GP-VPT2BT grip is pleasant when you want to film with one hand or set the camera on the table. It does not save an empty battery.
Four parts
Battery, SD card, mic and grip
Battery for the first generation. A card, so anything gets saved at all. A wireless mic when the built-in microphone hits its limit. The grip when the way you hold the camera is the next step.

Schwächen
−Small. Even two will not cover a whole workshop day without a break
−Does not fit the ZV-E10 II
−A long 4K day eventually wants a second card, not a faster class
−More gear than the built-in mic, which is often enough at arm's length
−The receiver occupies the shoe
−Not a substitute for walking with a heavy zoom
−The rocker does not optically zoom primes
Geeignet für
Any first ZV-E10 that should run longer than a short test.
The card in the camera on the first shooting day.
Talking and product videos where you are not glued to the camera the whole time.
Filming yourself standing, and conversations with the camera on the table.
The green row is the first purchase. The other three are useful, but later. A nice microphone on a camera with no second battery is the accessory that sits on the shelf while you look for the charging break.
The windscreen and the built-in microphone are already included.

Power
ZV-E10 battery: the NP-FW50
The NP-FW50 is the flat black cell in the first ZV-E10, in older Sony APS-C cameras, and in some compacts. One is included. For photos it feels longer than for video, because video just keeps running. I would buy the second battery before I plan a lens I do not miss yet. Original, not the cheap copy. The copies are the classic that stops the camera from starting.
The ZV-E10 II has the larger NP-FZ100. If you buy the II, or already have it, this battery is the wrong one. You can charge the first ZV-E10 through the USB socket on the body. A second battery is still the simpler shooting day, because you are not tied to a socket while you talk.
03
Storage
SD card for the ZV-E10: V30 is enough
The camera comes without a card. 128 gigabytes is a comfortable slot for many days of talking into the camera, without deleting every weekend. V30 is the speed class that writes this camera's ordinary 4K. V60 and V90 cost more and change nothing you can see on the ZV-E10. Which class other cameras need is in best SD card for a camera. The SanDisk Extreme PRO in V30 is the card I use as the default elsewhere too.
04
Voice
Microphone for the ZV-E10
On top of the ZV-E10 sits a microphone with three capsules, and a grey windscreen to clip on is in the box. In a quiet room, camera an arm's length away, that sounds at the start like a real camera and not like a phone on the table. Do not buy a second windscreen before you have used this one.
The jump comes when you step back. You show a product, the camera stays on the table, your voice becomes the room. Then the microphone belongs on the collar, not on the body. The ECM-W2BT is Sony's small wireless set: receiver in the accessory shoe, transmitter on your clothes, audio digital, no cable into the jack. Sony lists it as compatible with the ZV-E10. The camera also has a headphone socket. An old pair of headphones is enough to listen in. You do not have to buy those new.
05
Hold
GP-VPT2BT grip on the ZV-E10
The GP-VPT2BT screws under the camera. You hold it like a small grip, screen toward you, and start over Bluetooth without hunting for the shutter. The legs fold out and it stands on the table. For talking into the camera, that is often the whole tripod.
Two limits Sony describes the same way. The zoom rocker only drives a lens if the lens itself has a motor, which means the 16–50 power zoom. On a prime such as the 11mm or the 35mm nothing happens optically, unless the camera zooms digitally and crops the picture tighter. And as a tripod the grip likes light kits. A heavy zoom tips it forward. A gimbal for walking is a different device and not the first purchase here. Most people looking at a ZV-E10 sit or stand. That is what the grip is built for.

Box
Accessories the ZV-E10 already includes
◆The windscreen for the built-in microphone. It is in the box.
◆A viewfinder. The camera does not have one, and no clip-on part turns it into an A6700.
◆A faster card than V30, just because the pack looks like video.
◆The NP-FZ100 battery. That belongs to the ZV-E10 II, not here.
◆A second lens before the battery and the card are there. The lenses are in the lens guide.
If you are still choosing between this camera, a pocket camera and one with a viewfinder, the ZV-E10 review and the overview vlog camera for YouTube are more useful than an accessory basket.

FAQ
Common questions about ZV-E10 accessories
Which accessories do I need for the Sony ZV-E10?+
For the first generation, a second NP-FW50 battery and a 128 GB V30 SD card first. Then a wireless mic if the voice has to carry, and the GP-VPT2BT grip if you film with one hand or from the table.
Which battery does the ZV-E10 use?+
The first ZV-E10 takes the NP-FW50. The ZV-E10 II takes the larger NP-FZ100. The two batteries are not interchangeable.
Which SD card for the ZV-E10?+
A brand card with V30, for example 128 GB. V90 is not a necessary step up for this camera. More is in the SD card guide.
Do I need an external microphone?+
At arm's length in a quiet room, the built-in microphone with the windscreen from the box is enough. Once you step back, or the room echoes, a wireless mic on the collar is the difference you can hear.
Does the GP-VPT2BT grip fit the ZV-E10?+
Yes. Sony lists it for the ZV-E10. You start recording over Bluetooth. The rocker only zooms optically with a power-zoom lens. As a table tripod, only with a light lens, or it tips forward.
Which lens belongs with the accessories?+
The lens is its own decision. The 11mm for filming yourself, the Sigma 18–50 as one lens for the rest. The reasoning is on the ZV-E10 lenses page.
